The America’s Cup World Series is the debut of a new high-adrenaline America’s Cup -the world’s most prestigious sailing competition. A professional circuit bringing America’s Cup level racing and the America’s Cup experience to top international venues. the Series features tight, short race courses and an innovative regatta format.
Venice, home of the second AC World Series event of 2012, will provide a spectacular backdrop for the AC45 teams as they race both open sea (outside the) Lido Island, San Nicolò and inside Venice Lagun Bacino San Marco in a mixture of speed trials, head to head match racing, and all out fleet racing with identical AC45s.
